Halloween Party at Laundry Bar with DJ Ono of Bangkok Invaders

The final Halloween week is finally here. Everyone has been going to various Halloween parties, spoiling themselves with Halloween candy, scaring their friends with all the pranks and Halloween masks.

Well guess what's happening at Laundry Bar @ The Curve for this whole week? For the first time in Malaysian F&B history, Laundry Bar will be transformed to a real life horror house. DJ Ono from Bangkok Invaders will be hitting the deck on 1st and 2nd November 2013 (Friday and Saturday), with Jin Hackman pumping the crowd alongside with him.

Like to scare yourself up with horror films? Here's something for you. Horror flicks will be aired on 8pm all week long starting 28th October 2013 for the Horror Movie Nights, along with a selection of special F&B menu to entice your thirst. They will be airing movies like The Conjuring, The Purge, Texas Chainsaw Massacre & Ed & Dale VS Evil.

Future Music Festival Asia - A State of Trance & Hennessy V.S.O.P. Kyrios Launch Party

A quick update on the parties I've been to.

I was there!! I was there!!

Last Friday was my best night ever so far. 

It's Armn Van Buuren - A State of Trance. What more can I say. 

My friend dropped me at the entrance while he went to park his car (which is super super super far. I know coz we walked back to the car after the rave, and I think it took us like half an hour of walk. Luckily it's at night/wee morning, else pengsan coz of heat if it's during the day).

I bought the FMFA X Pestle & Mortar Crop Top at the merchandise stall while waiting for the others to come in. Support Pestle & Mortar yo! :p (no they didn't pay me to advertise for them lol)

Was so hungry while waiting for them, as I was sitting nearby the food stalls. EVERYTHING LOOK SO YUMMY WHEN YOU'RE HUNGRY!!

Finally I think around 8 they only came in, with W&W playing in the background. So I quickly grab a quick bite - lamb burger/sandwich thingy which cost 14 bucks >.< and head to the crowd.

After that, there's only one word to describe that 8 hours. AWESOME!

I didn't go on Sat tho. Too tired.

It's on a Thursday. So... can't really drink much. Although it's free flow. :(

When we enter, we were greeted by girls in their Hennessy uniform, and they sprinkle gold dust as we walked in. Ahhhh~~ suddenly felt magical.

Head up straight to the VIP/Media section. And the drinking begun.

Whole night was walking up and down, but most of the time I was at downstairs lepaking with my friends. Luckily my friends (different groups) are all standing at the same area.

Bump into many people that night. If I were to list down every name, it would be a long list. So let's just stick to I bump into many friends on that night :)

PUMA Evolution of Suede Launch + Finale Party Passes to be won!

OMG I've been procrastinating so much. And... I abandoned my blog again. =__=

Anyway, the other day I got invited to PUMA "Evolution of Suede" Launch at Black Box, MAP Gallery, Publika. The event is a reminiscence of hip hop street party and brings PUMA enthusiasts down a walk in memory lane on the evolution of dance and hip hop, with ample displays of the PUMA Suede.

The main highlight of the party was the four eight-feet 2058 Future Suede that were envisioned and designed by eight individuals from different subcultures.

31012013 - Future Music Festival Asia 2013

After going for Swedish House Mafia - One Last Tour and We Love Asia, next one I can't wait to go is Future Music Festival Asia!!! Last year's was super awesome!!

Miny rant: Paid for Party Zone tickets for Swedish House Mafia, ended up the people from Chill Out Zone can just walked freely in and out of Party Zone. Seriously? I've been to so many raves, never had I encountered this kinda situation before. I don't see a point for paying extra. Not only that, according to the released set time, Swedish House Mafia's set should be at 10pm. My friend called me at 9:30pm, asking me where am I, and that Swedish House Mafia's set is on RIGHT NOW. I was like WTF? So I paid extra and got the same zone as Chill Out, missed the opening of Swedish House Mafia, and it ended at 11:30pm. It's the first time I've been to a rave that ended at 11:30pm. Don't get me wrong, Swedish House Mafia was awesome! But BOO!!! to the organizer.

We Love Asia was great too. I was there on the second day. RedFoo from LMFAO and Steve Aoki are the bomb! But one thing wasn't that good is, the songs played in between sets. The crowds were already getting high, and then they played some slower songs while keeping us waiting for the next artist. But it was still alright.

Anyway, back to Future Music Festival Asia.

Last year's FMFA was only a one day event, this year, it's back, and better. Why? Cause it's a two day party event! Kicking start with Armin Van Buuren - A State Of Trance on the first night.

To be honest, I think that last year's line up was more awesome. Why the post suddenly got shorten? Saw the line up and I'm not so semangat anymore. Luckily Bass Agent, my fav will be playing on the second day tho. ;)

Being a EDM (Electronic Dance Music, just in case if you're wondering) supporter (hard style sometimes), this is something that I wouldn't wanna miss. After anticipating for a long time, finally I've got my Swedish House Mafia One Last Tour Party Zone ticket! Can't wait!

Christmas is a very special day for me. I wish to celebrate it with someone special. It does not mean you have to celebrate it at clubs or somewhere with a lot of people. You can always celebrate it at home with your friends and family. Wish you all will have a happy and enjoyable holiday.

No - No for Halloween club parties

So I went to Zouk KL yesterday night for the Halloween party. Saw some pretty awesome costumes actually. There were a lot of Joker, Chinese ghost, evil clowns walking around, Freddy, Super Mario, Mad Scientist, Batman, King and Queen of Hearts, Grim Reaper, and the most awesome I saw is one dude dressed up as the old man from KFC!

Had a pretty awesome night there actually. But then, some costumes accessories are just not meant to be used at a Halloween club parties. Everybody know it will be packed with people if the party is in a club. So, what i meant not appropriate, or should i say, not suitable, costumes accessories to wear to a Halloween club party are those BIG accessories. Still don't get what I mean? Here are few examples. (P/s: I'm not trying to offend anyone in this post okay? It's just my suggestion / opinion. Don't take it too hard.)

Witch Hat

You may ask, so what am I if I'm suppose to be a witch, but I can't wear a witch hat. Of course you can still wear it, but not recommended for people who are short like me. You will seriously poke someone with the edge of your hat without you knowing it. How did I know? Because one of the witches' hat almost poke my EYE yesterday night. So, on my opinion, yes, you can be a witch whenever you wanna be, but please, if possible, if you are short like me, don't be a witch. OR, you could choose to stay away from the more crowded place.

Wings

Be it fairy wings, butterfly wings, or angel wings. Yes, I know you wanna be a fairy or butterfly or an angel. Of course the wing is a VERY important accessory. BUT, it's not really suitable to wear it in a club party! Unless you don't walk through the already crowded crowds, else it's really super annoying with the wings HITTING every single person you walked by. I saw one girl actually closed and carried her wings in front of her when she walked through crowded places, that's pretty thoughtful of her. If you still insist on wearing your wings to a club party, you can choose either to stay away from the crowds or, like the girl i mentioned, keep your wings up when you go through the crowds. You can always wear it back when you are not in the crowds.


So, the two accessories which I've mentioned above is really a NO-NO accessories for a Halloween club party. It's definitely a YES if you are going to some other Halloween parties which are not so crowded and packed. But if it's in a club, definitely a NO. Trust me. You have no idea how many people are cursing you because of your Oh-So-Fabulous accessories which keep hitting their face / body.
